There are four dive companies in Gili Meno, however we recommend Meno Dive Club which is located in the main harbour. Horse Riding
Kingstable Horse riding ( listed on facebook ) on Gili Meno have well groomed ponies that circumnavigate the island. Generally they take guests out early morning or late afternoon due to the hot weather. The rate per person for 1.5 hours is idr 350,000 ( approximately usd 25.00 )
Bicycle
If you are up for some exercise then this is a great way to keep in shape while on your holiday. You can wander around the island and go whereever you want on your bike. There are many different bicycles for hire starting at 50,000 for one day.
Release A Turtle
Gili Meno has its very own turtle sanctuary located approximately 5 minutes from Kura Kura Resort. The sanctuary protects eggs and supervises hatching, nurturing the young turtles until they are 6 months old. The turtles are then released to the wild for their long journey and eventually return to Gili Meno. Travelers to Gili Meno have the opportunity to release a turtle for a small fee which is collected by the sanctuary and used for the day to day running. Golf Outings
The Lombok Kosaido country club is a sensational 18 hole course only 30 minutes away by boat from Gili Meno. Rates vary depending on the number of players and the day you wish to play. Club/shoe hire is available. The total cost of a round will be approximately USD 100.00 plus boat transfer. Please contact us for more information.
Snorkeling
The snorkeling is really great here. There are a few different ways to enjoy the fantastic snorkeling around Gili Meno. Details as follows;
1. public trips are a lot of fun, very safe but can get a little frustrating in large groups. Price per person is IDR 150,000 or usd 11.00
2. A private trip, maximum 4 people, can take you to the other islands although Gili Meno is renowned for its snorkeling.
3. Hire your own snorkeling equipment and explore the underwater treasures of Gili Meno on your own right from the beach! Price for 1 day idr 60,000 or USD 5.00
The snorkelling trips take you to Meno wall, the bounty jetty wreck, Christmas tree coral, turtle point, the statues at Bask coral garden and blue coral. The public trip gets underway at 9 am and the private trip at any time that suits our guests. All equipment is included in the trip prices, the duration is approximately 3 hours.
Kayaking
Kayaking is another great way to stay fit and enjoy the outdoors. Kayaks are available at Meno Mojo at a cost of idr 200,000 ( usd 15.00 ) per hour, life jackets included
Cidomo ( Horse & Buggy ) Trips Around The Island
There are no cars or motorbikes allowed on Gili Meno so this is a very unique way to experience Gili Meno a private cidomo ride around the island. This 2 hour journey will take you to beautiful beaches, the Meno lake, the local village and many more places of interest. There is a maximum of two people per cidomo.
Sport Fishing
Tropical reefs around the Gili Islands are protected and off limits to fisherman. We can arrange fishing trips to “special “ locations’ details are as follows;
